a shower and at the finish line of the 1st trimester!

(Julie, Chelsea, Stephanie, and Katelyn)
On Saturday a bunch of us girls got together to have a little baby shower for our dear friend Cami. We all met at Julie's house and she had so many fun little baby games to play and we also just chatted it up and ate quite a variety of yummy foods. It was a really fun girls night!

I love getting together with my girlfriends. Especially in a setting like this- just a few friends together- eating, talking, giggling and giggling, and sharing stories of what life is like now for each of us. I feel blessed to have such great friends to share moments like this with.
And well, the 1st trimester is over! And so far I'm quite enjoying being pregnant. Yeah, I've been a little sick here and there but nothing too terrible. (It's annoying to me to feel so hungry all the time, but that can't really be helped I guess.) I don't really like these pictures all that much, but I wanted Justin to take them so that in a few weeks we will have something to compare to. Would you even know I'm pregnant? Ha, ha! Probably not, just getting a little pudgy is all. :)

TrAfAlGa!

This weekend was so great. And I am just so sad that it is over already! Hunter and Maddie came and stayed with us this weekend and it was a blast! Justin had a lot of studying to do because his finals are coming up and so a little bit of the time it was just me, Hunter, and Maddie hanging out, but on Saturday night he took a break from studying and surprised the kids with a trip to Trafalga!
We got a great deal at Trafalga- which is why we were able to go. :) For $40 total we each got to do 3 activities, we all got to share a pizza and we each got drinks, we were given 5 arcade tokens each, and when we were done we each got to get a Dippin' Dots. Yum! Our first stop was the GO CARTS (where we waited in line for what seemed like forever- which was the biggest downfall of going to Trafalga...I swear they only had 5 workers total in that whole place!). Nonetheless, we still had tons of fun. :)
(I wondered why the Trafalga worker after taking this picture said, "Oh... okay, let's try that one more time!" Oh Maddie!)

Our next stop- the BATTING CAGES.Which turned out to be not so fun of an experience cause apparantly the bat we had was horrible and the boys said that it hurt really bad to hit the balls with it. So...Maddie and I decided to opt out on doing the batting cages and went to the 4D RIDE instead. It was a lot of fun!

After the batting cages I got too distracted to take any more pictures but, after our 4D ride we got our pizza and drinks, played a round of MINI GOLF, played Deal or No Deal with our ARCADE TOKENS, and last but not least enjoyed our Dippin' Dots! What a great weekend. We love it when Hunter and Maddie come to visit!

the HUNT

Among the many wonderfully fun things we did this weekend (none of which I took any pictures at...BOO!), on Sunday afternoon Justin and I had the chance to spend some time with my Craythorne family and watch all the kids scavenger for their eggs at our traditional Easter egg hunt. They all loved it!
Then, of course, after the hunt was over we all gathered at the traditional "Easter picture taking spot" to get a picture with all of the cousins. My mom took a bunch of pictures of all of us with my camera and I just couldn't decide which one I liked best...so I just had to show everyone a few of them! Enjoy!

Hoppy EASTER!
