This past Saturday, for the first time ever, the Craythorne family had family pictures! And the WHOLE ENTIRE family was there! It was amazing! And so much fun. Everyone dressed up and we took pictures of our whole family and of each individual family. And while we were waiting for everyone to get ready I just had to take some pictures of me and the girls! Maddie and Brooklyn are just my favorite girls ever. They make me so stinkin' happy!!! If I could steal them and have them come and live at my house I would!life.

the CUTEST girls!
If I could steal them and have them come and live at my house I would!our FIRST christmas
Justin and I have had an amazing first Christmas together as a married couple. The whole day just turned out so perfect. On Christmas day in the afternoon we went and visited my family and opened more presents! It was so fun to see Hunter and Maddie and have them show us all their new gifts. Santa gave Hunter this really cool remote snowmobile which he loves! And Maddie got, from Santa, dance dance revolution for the Wii, and Justin and I even gave it a try!
I was really excited to give my parents their Christmas present this year- a chocolate melter! They are always hard for me to buy for and I was glad that this year I really felt like I was giving them something that they would really enjoy. I think they were both really excited! They both love chocolate a lot!
This baby doll that Santa brought Maddie is the cutest little boy cabbage patch doll and she named him Maccoy! He is not nearly as cute as the real baby Maccoy, but Maddie was having lots of fun taking care of her new doll.
For a really long time Hunter has wanted a BIG down blanket. He is such a cuddle bug and has been using my mom's blanket like this one to wrap up in until Santa brought him his own! So here is Hunter getting all ready to watch a movie, all wrapped up in his new blanket!
Here's Talon. And as you can see he is not nearly as happy to have his picture taken here as he is when he is holding Maccoy! He's such a dork. I tried taking several pictures of him and he just wouldn't smile!
Grandma and Grandpa Adams came over while we were at my family's house to bring more presents! We truly were very, very, very spoiled this year!
Grandma and Grandpa Craythorne came over too! And guess what they brought! MORE PRESENTS! Also, Grandma brought me here old set of Christmas dishes, which I am way excited about! Thanks Grandma!
Little cutie oranges are a family favorite around this time of the year. Justin peeled this orange for Maddie to show her how you can make eyes and a long nose out of the peel if you peel it off just right and all in the same piece. She thought it was super funny! Monday, December 29, 2008
christmas morning- SANTA CAME!
We were very spoiled this Christmas! Christmas morning Justin and I opened Christmas presents from Santa with Justin's family. Everyone got lots and lots of fun things. And I think everyone's Christmas wish came true! Justin very most favorite present was his GPS! I got lots of favorite presents and probably won't name them all cause they would take up a lot of space! But Justin gave me pearl necklace, bracelet, and earring set and an incredible digital scrapbooking program! I love them both so very, very much! (We opened some of our presents for each on Christmas Eve before coming home and some of our presents on Christmas morning with Justin's family...it was so so fun to spoil each other, getting each other Christmas surprises that we hoped the other one would love...Justin surely did a great job at that!) My favorite present that I gave Justin was an engineering program he really wanted to help him with his studies in Mechanical Engineering. I also got him a Mechanical Engineering BYU t-shirt. it was the night before christmas...
This year Justin and I spent Christmas Eve and Christmas day with Justin's family. It was great. On Christmas Eve Justin and I made it home just in time to go with the rest of Justin's family to deliver Christmas to a family in need. It was such a special experience and really brought the true meaning of Christmas to the front of our minds.
Christmas Eve night we had a big Christmas dinner with the whole family. We had fondue and rolls and lots of other fun food. It was delicious!
Traditions at Justin's house for Christmas Eve include reading the Christmas story from the Bible and opening one present- PAJAMAS! All of us girls got really cute polka dot pajamas with matching shirts-all in the most fun bright colors!
Oh, and of course, we all had matching socks too!
I really don't like pictures of only me, but for some reason Justin really gets a kick out of making me crazy by trying to get pictures of me by myself. I know Justin will really love seeing that one of his photos that he took of me didn't get erased!

The boys just loved taking so many pictures! Ha!
After taking lots of pictures of the whole family in our new Christmas pj's we all watched Elf. Once it was time for bed all of us kids made beds on the floor in Curtis' room for the night (this is another tradition in Justin's family- to all sleep in the same room on the night before Christmas so that everyone is excited and ready for Santa to come in the morning)! a VERY merry christmas to all!
PARTY! a christmas surprise...

On last Tuesday night, the day before Christmas Eve, Justin surprised me with a note, sparkling cider, and these fun Santa hats inviting me to join him for our own personal Christmas party! I was so excited! Justin was still at work when I got home and found his surprise, but once Justin made it home from work (real late!) we ate Chinese food together, that we ordered in, and Justin had two more surprises for me- the Home Alone movie, and a delicious milk chocolate orange! So we ate, watched our new movie, and fell asleep. It was a slightly short-lived party since we started so late, but so much fun nonetheless. baby!

maddie and miryka's DANCE recital and an early CHRISTMAS surprise!
This past Saturday was both Justin and I's little sisters dance recital! Justin was on-call on Saturday for work and he sadly had to miss most of the recital, but I went to most of the recital with Talon until Justin arrived near the end and got to see the girls both dance one dance. They are such talented girls, and we are lucky that we got to see them dance. They both did such, such, such good jobs! Usually their dance recitals are at different times but this year they were at the same time which was really nice.
Brooklyn was also in the dance recital too! It's so much fun because all three of the girls are good little friends. Maddie and Brooklyn love and look up to Miryka so much! I just had to get a picture of all the girls together. :)And our little Christmas surprise! BreAnne and Adam had their little baby boy on Thursday afternoon. His name is Maccoy and he is such a sweet little thing! After the dance recital on Saturday evening Justin and I drove out to see him. My family came out to see him too and to bring dinner for everyone. I could have just held him for hours, he is such an adorable boy!I'm an aunt now! Justin loved holding the baby too. I think it made us both excited for the day when we will have our own babies. ;) One day...
