Feb. 24th- Keaton turned 6 months old yesterday. I honestly cannot believe that Keaton is already halfway to being 1! Yesterday, at our WIC appointment they weighed and measured Keaton- he now weighs 11 lbs. 10 oz. and is 23 inches long. He's in the 5th percentile for all his measurements for his adjusted age, which makes him 4 months old. We are trying to fatten this little baby up, but about the only thing "fat" about Keaton are his super chunky cheeks! Ha, ha.
I bought Keaton a couple of new binky's in a bigger size. It is really funny to watch him suck on them- they really squish his cheeks. :)
And today. Keaton's many faces...
life.

Curtis's ordination and Keaton's new "loves..."
Feb. 18th-
Keaton's 1st new "love=" playing with his toys, grabbing, pulling, and hitting them. Silly boy.
His eyes are looking more and more brown everyday, I think.
Oh, Keaton also loves EATING his toys too.
Keaton and daddy. I love it.
Feb. 20th- Yesterday, Curtis was ordained an Elder and Justin and I were able to be there. It was a good day, and a neat experience to be there for Curtis. We are SOOO excited for Curtis to get his mission call!
Oh, my baby boy is super, stinkin' handsome! (Doesn't his outfit make him look so studly.) And that smile just melts my heart everytime. :)
And, Keaton's 2nd new "love=" not being able to stop sucking on his hands. He absolutely LOVES them! If his binky isn't in his mouth than his fists are. It drives me crazy! But, it just seem to make him so happy.
Aunt Ryka and Keaton. :)

full of it, a big bash! Keaton loves mommy, and the Bumbo
Feb. 5th- Keaton, happy and full after his bottle.
He looks so tiny sitting on our couch. :)
He's always so content once his belly is nice and stuffed.
Also, on Feb. 5th, Saturday night was Justin's Grandma and Grandpa Norman's 80th birthday party and 58th wedding anniversary!
The WHOLE Norman family- well, minus Keaton (who stayed at my mom's during the party) and Justin's mom (who had her tonsils out this past week :( ) (Actually, there might be a few more people missing, but I won't name them in case I miss anyone...)
The party was a ton of fun. Everyone shared lots of memories about Grandma and Grandpa Norman. Justin's family shared a fun memory about Grandpa Norman and him making these crazy orange peel glasses when they went to visit Grandma and Grandpa Norman in England while they were serving their mission there. Silly stuff! I wish I had the picture of Grandpa with his "orange glasses" on it is hilarious!
The birthday boy and girl- the happy couple. We sure love these two!
Feb. 6th- Me and my sweet, wonderful baby boy. Oh, there is simply just NOTHING like cuddling with this little man. :)
Feb. 8th- Keaton has really started liking sitting in his Bumbo. He gets kinda wiggly trying to keep his head held up, but he seems to really like being able to look all around him and talk and play with us.

the rantings of a crazy woman... (a long, boring, somewhat pointless post)
Just thought I'd share a couple of my new favs that I have really enjoyed the last few months since I haven't had to work, a.k.a. since Keaton was born :) ...
reading (Ha, I've always loved reading, but I have had a lot more time to read lately and I just really enjoy it- especially when reading includes taking a nice long bath while Keaton is napping.)
watching new movies/renting Redbox movies (Justin thinks all I want to do is watch movies, but it's such an easy, fun thing to do since we can't go out these days.) ...a couple of these favorites include, Charlie St. Cloud, Despicable Me, and The Princess and the Frog...
Ghost Whisperer and Without a Trace (Not so much recently, I haven't been watching tv lately- I think I have seen every single episode now- but right after Keaton was born I watched it a lot on the ION television channel- also another favorite.)
spending time with my mom (I love, love, love it when my mom comes to visit, it gives me a change of pace- we usually get lunch together, do errands, and talk about just anything and everything.)
watching Law and Order SVU on Netflix (Justin thinks I am crazy for liking this show so much, but what can I say, I really like it.)
playing with Keaton (Of course!)
getting Cafe Rio "to go" with Justin (Or any yummy food to go that we can bring home to eat- Chili's, Rumbi Grill...)
playing Solitaire Frenzy with Justin and Curtis (Or anyone that wants to play, the more players the better! This is such a very fun game, I am addicted to playing it! I also like playing Skip-Bo with Justin if we don't have enough people to play Solitaire Frenzy. Open invitation- come play with us anytime, it would be great fun!)
3 Musketeers Truffle Crisp (Oh my, if you haven't tried this new candy bar you are missing out big time!)
buying new books, or borrowing books from the library (I love searching for new books to read whether it's on the library website- I borrow a lot of books from the library- or at BN.com- I have a gift card that I am just dying to use!)
grocery shopping! (Weird? Maybe, but I look forward to going grocery shopping to Walmart or Target every week, it makes me excited. :) Okay, yes, I am a weirdo...)
making dinner (HA HA, ya right, I am close to hating making dinner, it just really isn't fun, but I am trying to like it, or atleast trying to DO it- some weeks I do better than others...this has definitively been an off week...)
ZUMBA (Okay, so I actually haven't done ZUMBA yet, I just bought it. But, I am hoping that once I start I will love it! Anyone want to join me? I've heard it's super fun and I am way excited to try it!)
bowling (I don't know if I can count this as something I love to do lately, since Justin and I have only gone once, but earlier this week Justin and I went on a date while my mom babysat Keaton and we went out to dinner- to Texas Roadhouse, yum- and bowling and I absolutely loved it! It was a blast. And now, I want to go again really badly!)
The Office (I never thought I would say this, but this show is really very comical. It's dumb, but it makes me laugh. I don't watch it a ton, but when I do I rather enjoy it. Ha, ha.)
Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader and Don't Forget the Lyrics (I also don't watch these shows all that often, but I think they are fun, cute shows.)
Buying Disney movies to add to my collection (We don't have money to do this often, but recently I bought The Princess and the Frog and The Black Cauldron, and for Christmas my mom gave me Beauty and the Beast.)
As I wait each day for Winter to go away and Spring and Summer to show up, I try to think of fun, little things to do that will make my day happier, and making this list of favorites just seemed like a fun thing to do. :)
