Getting pampered.

She makes me happy.

December 9th-

It snowed!

We got our first snowfall/snowstorm on Sunday. Church was even cancelled after sacrament meeting! Keaton was in love with all the snow and was so glad when Justin said they could go out and play in it together for a bit!
Later Sunday night we enjoyed watching the Christmas devotional with the missionaries. It was heavenly to hold this sweet baby throughout all the wonderful inspirational holiday messages.

Better late than never?

It's only taken me 3 months but I finally finished Aisley's birth announcement. And, although it is probably much too late to mail it out... it just is way too cute not to use at all, right?!

3 months.

December 5th-
Aisley is such a happy, sweet, baby girl. At 3 months old Aisley is smiling and giggling whenever she is awake. She sleeps through the night (8-10 hours) most nights. ;) She's become quite the little pro at nursing. She loves when we talk to her, when her big brother plays with her, and when she is sleepy she loves to be cuddled and bounced. She makes our home a happier place for sure!

Out and about...

Last Tuesday the kids and I went to the mall to get Aisley's 3 month pictures taken. I was all kinds of prepared to do pictures, eat lunch at the mall, and then do some shopping all with the kids in tow.
Keaton fell asleep on our way to the mall. He kept telling me while we were driving- "Mom, the car is making me want to close my eyes!" Ha, ha. I love this boy. (Even if he is suddenly waking up an hour to an hour and a half earlier than normal...!)

After pictures I had to find a place to nurse Aisley and decided this dressing room in JcPenney would work just fine. Keaton actually loved hanging out in here. He had a blast taking pictures and making silly faces in the mirror. And then we were all ready to get some lunch and do some shopping! So we headed into the mall... and guess what?! It was almost completely empty! And I don't mean empty of people, (although it was empty that way too) but the entire mall had a total of maybe 5 stores inside it and as far as places to eat went it was very slim pickings... I was quite disappointed to say the least. What a dud of a trip and I had worked so hard. Bummer. Well, we made the most of it by walking around the whole mall looking at the few stores they did have and then we headed back to JcPenney where we found this GIGANTIC Olaf stuffed animal from the movie Frozen! (Such a cute show, by the way, a MUST see for sure!) I wanted to buy it for Keaton for Christmas- I mean it is only $500!!! Ha, ha. I was so surprised to see that it was even for sale, I thought for sure that it was just for display. But, hey, who doesn't want to buy a HUGE $500 stuffed snowman for their child?!

And, then there is this girl. I can hardly believe she is ALREADY 3 months old. (More pictures and such to come on this milestone in our precious little baby girl's life!)

Family night- visiting Santa and ice cream!

November 25th- For family night this week Keaton really wanted to make a trip to the mall to see Santa. He was so excited and had planned everything out- he was going to sit BY Santa (not on his lap) and he was going to tell him he was a good boy and could he please have a candy cane for Christmas. Unlike last year, (when Keaton was terrified of Santa) this year Keaton followed through with his plan perfectly. "Don't you want any toys?" Santa asked. "Nope." Keaton replied confidently. (This is Keaton's 2nd year asking for a candy cane ONLY for Christmas- are we lucky parents or what?! Ha ha.)

After seeing Santa we went to Cold Stone to get some ice cream with the gift card Justin's sister, Mckell, gave me for my birthday! Thanks Mckell- we all LOVED our ice cream!

Later Monday night, Aisley had a belly ache and just wanted to be held for a while...

I love this little baby girl.
