The Omaha Zoo is still our favorite zoo we have ever been to by far. But, we had a great time together looking at all the animals at the Baltimore zoo. Keaton's favorite was the monkeys!

The zoo.
This past Saturday we went to the Zoo!

Sunday dinner.
And, this boy particularly loved the corn on the cob we had with one of our dinners. :)
Visiting Baltimore- Our first day in the city.
Keaton being super brave and laying down on the bed of nails!!!
Exploring the "turtle crossing" with his little turtle shell on.
Us next the the harbor of the Chesapeake Bay. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time walking around the mall and seeing all the boats come and go in the harbor.
And a bunch of fun pictures of Keaton playing in the water after we were done at the Science Center. He had a blast! (Until he fell and smacked his head right into the cement and got a HUGE bump on his head! :( Poor guy.)

12 on 12: June
Keaton and I had a pretty lazy day yesterday and I really had to stretch to find things to take pictures of... so, this 12 on 12 is pretty boring... better luck next month? (And, well, sadly May came and went and I missed doing 12 on 12 altogether! Oops!)
1=> Keaton enjoyed spending a little time riding his bike around on our small patio outside yesterday afternoon.
2=> I wrote cards to a family member and a good friend as wedding congratulations.
3=> Justin bought a new phone with his birthday money. The screen is huge! And overall the phone itself is a big upgrade from his old one. Justin is now joining the smart phone world!
4=> Wishing I had money to buy a bunch of baby girl stuff on Amazon...
5 and 6=> The boys went on a bike ride. :)
7=> I stayed home and thought about how fun it will be when our baby girl joins our family!
8=> My almost 28 week bump.
9=> The diaper bag I want... it costs sooooo much money!
10=> One of the several DISGUSTING bugs we have found in our apartment... needless to say I don't sleep as well at night worrying about where these suckers are hanging out! (And this one is a SMALL one compared to others we have found.)
11 and 12=> New Jamberry nails... I decided to put them on while watching The Big Brain Theory with Justin. Our new fav show. Too bad the final episode of the series is next week!

Then and now- the bump.
Hmmm... smaller belly, but bigger face... By 27 weeks pregnant with Keaton I was already getting pretty swollen in my face, hands, legs, and feet. I'm happy to report that (knock on wood!) I don't have ANY swelling yet this pregnancy!
Weeks 25-27- the bump.
25 weeks (This picture was taken in the bathroom of our hotel while we were in Nauvoo.)

Apartment A.
Welcome to our new home!
Let me take you on a tour!
Our family room...continuation of our family room with a view of the computer and our dining room...
Our dining room and to the left is our kitchen...
The storage cabinet we bought to store our food- we have very little cupboard space in our kitchen!
And directly to the right of our kitchen is the hallway that leads to the rest of our home...
Keaton's room/future baby girl's room...
bathroom with a little peek into the room where the shower is. We only have one bathtub/shower and it connects to both this bathroom and our master bathroom.
The rest of the hallway... on the left is our linen closet and behind the curtain is our washer and dryer. Straight ahead is the master bedroom.
There were closet doors up that covered the washer and dryer, but Justin took them down and put up these curtains for me because it was really hard to get into the dryer because the closet door didn't open big enough.
Our room...
which is nice and big/roomy. We even fit our crib in with plenty of space to spare. And that door on the left behind the crib leads into our bathroom...
which also has a door connected to the bathtub/shower.
Oh, and here is a closer picture of our sliding glass door which leads to our patio and storage closet.
And since the movers broke our old tube TV that was a $40 find from the DI back when we first got married we decided it was time to upgrade to a nice flat screen TV. :)
And, that's it! It's not a house (Oh, how I miss our Nebraska house!), but it is a lot more spacious and nicer than we imagined it would be. And, with each passing day it is slowly feeling more and more like home.

7 states and 6 days later...
We finally made it to our new home in Cockeysville, Maryland late on the night of May 29th. We stayed the night in a hotel that first night and then (long story made super duper short) the next afternoon we got the keys to our new apartment. For the next 4 days we lived in our empty apartment with our suitcases, air mattress, Keaton's big boy bed, and a few other necessities that we bought along to get us by until all of our stuff came on Monday, June 3rd. Then we lived in utter chaos for another couple of days as we worked our guts out unpacking and finding new homes for all of our stuff. (Boy do we have A LOT of stuff!)
Needless to say, I am super happy to be COMPLETELY DONE unpacking and FINALLY be living in a place that with each passing day is starting to feel a little more like our home. All we have left to do is hang up all of our decorations on the walls. (And. I'm hoping that Justin will be willing to help me do that tonight! :) )
Saturday, June 1st- Keaton and Daddy using their tools to build some floor lamps for our bedrooms.
Monday, June 3rd- The movers not only bought in ALL our boxes but they UNPACKED all of them too! Which was nice and helpful in many ways, but made our house quite the crazy place to walk around/live in.
More pictures to come of what has turned into a pretty nice place to call home. :)
