Everybody LOVES baby keaton...
And today...
Keaton and I are just relaxing, taking lots of naps and watching lots of Halloween movies (my favorite!) and although it looks like Christmas outside here today, Keaton and I are keepin' warm inside pretending like it's still fall outside (sooner or later I'll have to face the facts that fall never lasts as long in Utah as I want it to), but today has been such a nice day. I love being home with my baby. He is such a sweet, sweet boy and on days like today it's okay that we are stuck inside. :)
My "big guy." (Thanks Rielee for the cutest outfit ever! Doesn't he look like such a stud?!)

grandparents, and "Get me outta here!"
Sunday, October 17th- (above and below) Grandma and Grandpa Adams first time holding Keaton. :)
Tuesday, October 19th- Great Grandma Patsy's first time holding Keaton. She was so very excited!
On Tuesday, Keaton was 2 months old! We went to his first doctor's appointment and he weighs 6 lbs 4 and 1/2 oz and is 17 and 1/2 inches long. Keaton is a healthy happy baby. He is learning each day how to do better nursing and does fantastic at taking his bottle. He still needs a little bit of oxygen, but hopefully in about a month that will be gone and our Keaton will be monitor and cord free! (Can't wait for that day!) Keaton no longer fits into his preemie clothes and is too little for most of his newborn clothes, but I'm sure that won't last long either. :)
After hearing so much about all the fun things they have at Gardener Village, yesterday, Justin and I made a trip out there- yes, with Keaton too- and took a walk around looking at all the cute Halloween decorations and enjoying the nice, OH, SO NICE, weather. (I have been feeling so VERY TRAPPED inside our apartment and I just needed to get out, and since the doctor said it's okay to be outside, going on walks with Keaton and such, I was very, very excited when Justin said we could visit Gardener Village, and I absolutely loved it!)
The witches were filming a commercial.
Keaton was even wearing his super cute Halloween outfit, "Mommy's Little Pumpkin." (Thanks Erin! Doesn't he look so cute in it? :) )
Keaton was excited to get out of the house too. :)

the last few days, and BIG news!
October 8th-
Can't believe how much our baby Keaton grows and changes each and every day.
October 9th-
October 10th- Keaton's nursery ...look for these fun things...
the cute baskets that I bought at IKEA that match his bedding perfectly...and the cute picture frames AND wood block lettering of Keaton's name (BreAnne made them!!!), aren't they so stinkin' cute!
...and here is Keaton's cute little bassinet that is in our bedroom (Justin's mom found this cute bassinet at a garage sale and Justin fixed it up for me)...
and lastly, more wood block lettering (this set Cheridan made, I love it, thanks Cheridan!).
And here's our baby Keaton, now weighing in at 5 lbs 12 oz!
Oh, and I mustn't forget our big news, WE ARE TAKING KEATON HOME ON THIS WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 13TH! I CAN'T WAIT! So, for the next few days we have a room at the hospital to stay in to be here with Keaton to take care of him and feed him every three hours so that we are all ready to take him home in just 2 days!

6 weeks :)
I think Hunter would call this "chillaxin'." :) Doesn't he just look nice and comfy. I took this picture right after his bath last night.
Yesterday, October 5th, Keaton was 6 weeks old. And I just can't believe how quickly he is growing! Keaton now weighs 5 lbs 6 oz. He's still going to be in the hospital for a little while longer since he still needs to get eating down and he still needs a bit of oxygen. But, our nurses and our doctor are helping us do all we can to get this sweet baby boy home ASAP!

some daddy moments...
On Thursday, September 29th, Justin was able to feed Keaton his very first bottle. :) Keaton is still learning about the whole eating thing- such a small baby just needs time to catch onto these things. But our little Keaton is a strong boy and is such a hard worker. Just like his dad.
This morning Justin and Keaton had a little nap together. Don't they look cozy. :)
