Vernal

This past week, (our trip was from July 24th-28th) on our way to Flaming Gorge with Justin's family we made a special stop in Vernal Utah, the city where Justin's Grandma and Grandpa Hunsaker lived before Justin's Grandpa Hunsaker passed away.

We drove past where Justin's grandparents house used to be, visited the Vernal Utah Temple, and stopped at the Vernal cemetary to see Grandpa Hunsaker's grave.

What a beautiful temple. So unique on the outside. This is special place for Justin's family, especially Justin's mom who has many fond memories of being in this temple- before it was a temple it was a tabernacle- and when she was younger she remembers cleaning here with her family.

Justin's Grandpa Hunsaker is very loved and missed. Being at his gravesite was a peaceful time for Justin's family and I was glad to be able to share that feeling of peace with them. This was one of my favorite moments of our trip.

mind boggling

Want to see a movie that keeps you guessing and your heart racing? Justin and I went to see this movie on Monday night and we both just thought it was such a great movie. It really makes you think a lot about the way dreams work and the power they could have in your life. I give this movie 5 stars for sure!

decorating for baby

Aren't these puppies just so very cute! This is what a picked out on Saturday at Sew-n-Save to decorate our baby boy's room in. I just love it!

Grandma Patsy and Suzanne came with me on Saturday to Sew-n-Save and as soon as I saw this quilt I fell in love with it! We did have to improvise a bit with some of the fabric choices cause they were out of a few of the ones that were used in this one, but I am very excited to see how it will all turn out!
I also got all the stuff needed to make this super cute pillow too. (Do you think you can make it for me BreAnne?) :)

SURPRISE!

For my mom's birthday this year we decided to get creative and planned a surprise birthday dinner for her at one of her favorite restaurants- El Matador. So on the big day me and Justin, BreAnne, Adam, and Maccoy, and Kayte and Bo all met at El Matador at 6 o'clock, got seated and ready to surprise our mom any second when...we realized that the rest of my family wasn't even on there way yet with my mom- in fact, she had no intentions of going anywhere that night! So after some slight adjustments to our plan and a slight spoiler to our surprise, (I am pretty sure my mom knew what was up after all the craziness of trying to get her to the restaurant) a little bit later we were all back at El Matador. It was such a fun night. And it was so great to have everyone there to celebrate together. The food was super yummy and isn't that watermelon cake that BreAnne made so stinkin' cute! What a very fun night! Happy Birthday mom!
Our waitress (on the right of this picture) was really getting into our birthday celebration with us. She was a hoot! She loved us so much and really loved teasing us (especially Bo) about just about anything she could think of. We were all laughing so hard. I love this picture because I feel like she is just about to help my mom blow out her candles any second! Ha ha!
