the CHENEY family thanksgiving at BEAR LAKE!

This last Friday after work Justin and I drove out to Bear Lake to stay in some condos with the Cheney family to have the Cheney family Thanksgiving/Christmas weekend and party. Justin and I had a condo for ourselves and it was amazing! It had a king size bed, a full kitchen and family room, and even a washer and dryer. I seriously even think it was bigger then our own apartment! We had lots of fun visiting with all the whole family. This was Justin's second time meeting my Cheney family and it was fun to be together with them as a married couple. I loved getting to know all the little kids, the ones who I hardly know because they are still such little babies, and the ones that have grown up a lot since the last time I saw them and they were just little kids, but they sure aren't anymore! We played fun games with everyone, we watched the BYU vs. UTAH game, and we ate lots of good food all weekend. It was so much fun to be around the whole family and celebrate Thanksgiving and an early Christmas together. I feel very blessed to have the Cheney family as a part of my and Justin's family. We don't get to see them a lot but when we do I always come to remember all the reasons why I love having them as part of our family! Justin and I were in charge of helping with breakfast on Saturday morning. We made hashbrowns. It was quite the experience because since we didn't have cooking spray our first round of hashbrowns ended up sticking to the bottom of the pan!
Also in charge of breakfast with us was Amanda and her husband Ben. It was a lot of fun spending time with them this weekend. They have two little girls now, Kiya and Janie.
Saturday morning Grandma came over to breakfast in her curlers, and I told her that I just had to have a picture! Grandpa also joined us for our picture. My Grandma and Grandpa Cheney are such cute and fun grandparents. It was so good to see them both.
Here is a cute picture of Joanie's daughter, Janessa, holding Johnny and Julie's little baby girl Anna.
This picture I took during the tribute that was given to Grandpa Cheney. It was lots of fun to here some of the family's favorite memories about Grandpa, especially because a lot of them I had never heard about before.
Aunt Diane, with one of her son's in the background, Derek. This trip I just couldn't get over how much Derek has grown up!
Isn't he just so cute! I asked Johnny and Julie's littlest boy Eric if I could take a picture for him and automatically he put on this so cute smile! Eric is five years old and I really wanted to bring him home with us because of how dang cute he is! Saturday morning he was really in a bad mood, and Julie said he just isn't a morning person, but gosh he was even cute when he was in a bad mood!
Here is Johnny and his youngest and only little girl Anna.
I was able to hold Anna a lot during our time in Bear Lake. She is such a cute baby, one who loves loves to eat and she looks just like her amazing mom!
The picture below is a picture of Justin as Mickey Mouse! Johnny saw Justin just relaxing in his chair and realized that it looked like Justin had ears, and we just had to take a picture! Ha ha!
