naptime... and Richard Paul Evans!

Here is my baby boy asleep in his crib for nap time. (Keaton usually sleeps in his swing for nap time, but last week I decided it was time to switch to the crib?) This lasted for almost the whole week... Then I gave up. Keaton sleeps and has slept all through the night in his crib all his whole little life, but when it comes to taking naps he has never done a super great job at taking a substantially long nap in his crib. And, sadly, I value and look forward to nap time much to much for him not to take a very good nap! So, back to the swing he went...
Oh, well. There are worse things than Keaton being almost 1 year old and still sleeping in his swing, right? I think so. Keaton has been a little fussier lately than is normal for him. I think its a combination of a little cold and perhaps some discomfort from teething. Keaton now has both of his two little bottom teeth just barely poking through his gums. (His second tooth started coming up just a couple days after his first one at the beginning of August.) Only 9 days till this sweet little boy is 1! I can hardly believe it!
On Friday, August 12th I dragged Justin and Keaton along with me (our friends David, Krystal and Sarah Mulder met us there) to hear, meet, and get Richard Paul Evans signature! He was speaking at the Provo City Library about his brand new young adult book titled Michael Vey. (It is a great read and I highly recommend it!) It was great to meet Richard Paul Evans. He is a writer I not only love to read, but also, a writer I really look up to. He writes high quality, uplifting, and inspiring books that demonstrate the importance of high moral standards and family values. It was especially neat to hear him talk about his new book and how special it is to him. (Honestly, I could go on all day about this man and his books, but instead of boring those that don't care to hear about it feel free to ask me if you would like to know more about what I think about Richard Paul Evans, his books, or his new book Michael Vey. I would be more than happy to share!)

That is crazy to think Keaton will be 1. I also like his books and agree with all you said. I'm glad things are going well for you. Love you!
