Saying goodbye is always so hard for me.

What a crazy few weeks it has been. To say the least. On May 30th we said our final goodbyes to our apartment in Orem- the place we have called home since we were married almost 4 years ago. I know- it's not much right? But, I grew to love this little apartment so much and will kinda miss it and all it's great "features" that I came to love/deal with. :) Ha, ha. Seriously, though I was incredibly sad to leave our apartment, our ward, BYU, and Orem in general.
After a crazy week with packers and movers in our apartment and everything in boxes and complete and total disarray, we spent our last day in our apartment cleaning and scrubbing and sanitizing EVERYTHING. I swear our apartment has never been cleaner! (Which is kinda sad in a small way if ya think about it.) So, here it is- in all its glory- empty and sad looking as we said goodbye.

I decided I wanted to take a few pictures of our apartments "special features"-

Our window unit. No AC in this tiny apartment. Mmm... this might not be something I will miss too terribly much.
Our green push button stove. (I wish I would have taken a close-up of the push buttons!) As strange as it sounds I came to love this little stove. I mean it. We even found out that our landlords have now replaced it with a nice new stove and I can't help but feel a bit sad about it. Crazy right?! But, seriously I cooked a lot of yummy dinners with this stove.
Our whole apartment had an olive green motif, which I was honestly a little thrown off by when we first moved it... so ugly. But, yes, as crazy as it seems I grew to love this apartment AND its green counter tops in the kitchen and bathroom!
Goodbye to our dear, sweet, and amazingly great Orem apartment! We will miss you! (Okay, so mostly I will miss you... but, deep down Justin and Keaton will be missing you too, I promise. :) )

Packed to the gills and ready to head out. Still not even believing that we are about to be moving to Nebraska!
