NYC!

May 10th-

All aboard the CRAZY train- a.k.a. the metro!

Nap time for Aisley and lunch time for the rest of us while in Little Italy. The weather threatened rain all day long our first day in New York and as soon as we sat down for lunch it started pouring cats and dogs! Luckily, by the time we were all finished eating (and napping) the rain had stopped!

After a few trips on the crazy train we were beginning to feel like pros! Ha, ha.

Our family- with a distant view of Lady Liberty in the background.

Keaton LOVED seeing the Statue of Liberty and comparing it to his own little Lady Liberty that we bought for him in Chinatown.

Our favorite NYC treat! YUM!
Ground Zero. (Keaton was too busy devouring his roasted almonds to smile for the picture!)

Justin and Keaton in Times Square. (And some random lady that just would not move out of any of our pictures that we were trying to take- ha ha!)
Ya just never know what kind of picture you will get when you ask some random stranger to take a snapshot for you... glad this lady's thumb got to join us in our picture!

Our Chinatown purchases!
May 11th-
Aisley's first ride in the big stroller!
I just had to take a quick picture of the mother's room at the church (which is in the same building as the temple)- it was huge! Our ward in Baltimore could certainly have used this many rocking chairs in our mother's room!

Our last stop before heading back home was a walk through Central Park. I should have taken more pictures, but both the kids fell asleep and I just didn't get the chance. I could have spent hours there. Such a stark contrast from the rest of the city, and yet it still had such a New York feel to it. (If that makes any sense?!)

This sign. Justin asked me to take a picture of it so he could send it to our friend Ryan Westover. (I guess he says "Cool as a cucumber" a lot!)
