11 months.

August 3rd- At 11 months old, Aisley weighs about 14 lbs. (I know, she's tiny!) It's getting harder and harder to get good pictures of Aisley- she is quite the wiggle worm and likes to be on the move. She is a busy bee. Aisley is a pro at sitting up and each day is becoming more and more of an expert at the army crawl (she still doesn't get up onto her knees to crawl) and as quick as can be she can get from one side of a room to the other. (Keaton isn't sure what he thinks about this yet... and is constantly getting upset with Aisley when she crawls over to play with him a.k.a. take his toys!) A week or so after Aisley turned 10 months old I slowly started weaning her off nursing (Sad day- I have really LOVED nursing time with this sweet girl and getting closer to being done with that time has been harder than I thought it would be.) and started giving her more bottles in place of the feedings I dropped nursing. Now, at 11 months old Aisley is only nursing 2X a day, and in a couple of weeks I plan on dropping her to 1X a day. So, it won't be long till she is only being bottle fed. (The pediatrician thinks with how small Aisley is that she should keep having formula for a while after she turns one and so, she will probably have a bottle AND sippy for while.) Aisley is a happy, happy girl! She loves playing with toys, going on walks in the double jogging stroller with brother, and is always making fun, happy noises, giggling, and screaming to get our attention. I can't believe in one very short month this girl will be 1 year old! We love our Aisley Pearl!
