February- in a nutshell.

February 4th- Miss Aisley Pearl at 17 months old.
February 7th-
Aisley and I went to Maddie's dance competition. It was a long day and Aisley fought sleep till the bitter end, but in the end sleep won out!
February 10th-
One of the scariest days of my life when Aisley fell all the way from the top of our longest set of stairs to the bottom, started crying, and then passed out limp in my arms, and would not wake up! I carried her limp and lifeless body in my arms up to my room to where my phone was charging and called 911 in a complete and utter panic. I didn't know what to do. I didn't know how to help her. And it felt like an eternity before the paramedics finally showed up. By the time the ambulance arrived at our home Aisley was awake and becoming alert again- thankfully! And was already seeming a lot better. She hated the paramedics bugging her, getting her vitals, and in the end we decided a quick ride in the ambulance for a visit at the ER would be best just to make sure there were no serious injuries that weren't apparent by sight alone. During this whole ordeal, Keaton seemed quite unaware at how serious the situation certainly felt for me. He stayed with me for a few minutes immediately after it happened, but never seemed too concerned, and by the time the paramedics arrived he was once again back downstairs watching Disney Junior. Although, it seemed like a strange reaction at the time, I am very glad that he wasn't traumatized too much by the whole ordeal and I'm also grateful that he didn't make the situation any harder (in fact he made it easier for me in the long run since I was able to focus entirely on Aisley, but also know that he was just fine). My sweet and caring next door neighbor came over after seeing the ambulance to make sure everything was okay and to see what she could do to help. I immediately started bawling at the sight of her. I'm not exactly sure why. At that point I knew Aisley was most likely okay, but everything that had happened was finally starting to sink in and my emotions were getting the better of me. My neighbor, Misty, was so great and called Justin for me to tell him what was going on (I hadn't had a chance yet since I had to stay on the line with 911 until the ambulance arrived) she helped me with Keaton while I got ready to take Aisley in the ambulance to the hospital, she took Keaton to her house, kept checking in with me while we were at the hospital, and was feeding Keaton lunch by the time we got back home. Justin and his dad got the the hospital shortly after we did and I was relieved to have Justin by my side. It was like I could finally breath knowing he was there, knowing everything would be okay. Aisley was checked out by a doctor and had CT scans done of her head and neck. Everything looked fine. What a relief! What a crazy morning- to say the least. We all just feel extremely blessed that nothing serious was wrong with our precious Aisley Pearl. She had a bruise from the fall underneath her eye and looked a little worse for wear after such a crazy experience, but other than that she was fine. We love her so very much and are so very glad that she is okay.

(A little peek at Aisley's ever thickening hair. Those little curls!)
February 12th-
Aisley's 1st mini manicure given by aunt BreAnne. She felt very pampered.
February 17th-
Feelin' the love! I always love, love, love all the fun, cute, and creative Christmas cards we get each year (The # continues to grow!) This year I waited until half way through February before having the heart to take them down.

February 18th- Prepping for Maddie's "Sweet 16" Birthday surprise! (She was on her way home from Disneyland on her birthday and didn't get home till late, so we surprised her with this fun sign me and the kids made together!)
February 20th- Keaton, Ellsie, and Aisley enjoying their chocolate covered strawberries while out to lunch at Zupas.
