Out with the OLD and in with the NEW!

A couple of months ago my great aunt and uncle, Ann and Jon Little, offered us their old entertainment center (and TV) all for FREE! They were remodeling and said they were taking it all to the dump if they didn't find anyone who wanted it. We took them up on their offer! Ann and Jon's entertainment center was made specifically for Ann and Jon's wall and we knew Justin would need to make some modifications on it before it would work for our house, but Justin was, of course, up for the challenge and suddenly we had a little project on our hands as we decided to not only fix the entertainment center for our family room, but we also had the grand idea of painting too! Whew! Who knew painting was so hard and time consuming?! Ha, ha. Our "fun project" turned it a "how in the world will we ever get this done, what were thinking?! project" and it is ONLY thanks to my amazingly hard working, dedicated husband that our new entertainment center is FINALLY finished. (I did help a little, but let's be honest Justin did most of the work/painting!)

April 25th- Our OLD entertainment center. (I forgot to take a "before" picture before we took it all apart, but you get the general idea.)
April 28th- A picture of the entertainment center while still in Ann and Jon's house.
And... TADA! Our NEW entertainment center all set up in our home and ready to be decorated!
May 4th- A few days later... Oh, I'm so in love! I'm not sure if Justin would agree, but I think all the hard work was worth it- I ABSOLUTELY love our new entertainment center. Everything about it- from the IVORY color, the shelves and cupboards for decorations and storage, and our new big TV!
