I really didn't do the greatest job taking lots of pictures at Grandma and Grandpa Craythorne's 50th wedding anniversary party cause I got busy visiting with everyone and just having fun. Of course I couldn't help taking some pictures of the kids. Here is Brinnlee and Ady!
And Ady and Riley!
Here's me and Lexi. The wedding anniversary party for my grandparents was on Saturday, February 21st at the West Point City Building. Lots of family and friends came to celebrate my grandparents fun day! I went home Saturday just in time to help set up a bit before the party started. The funny thing about this day is that I came home to West Point to visit my family, and Justin's family went to Orem to visit him. On this same day Justin and his dad and brother Curtis had tickets to go the the BYU vs. UofU basketball game in Provo. We both had such busy days and it was a little strange to be with our familes without each other.
BreAnne and Maccoy.
My camera decided to die on me towards the end of the party, and I was really sad cause I really wanted to get a better picture of Lexi with the balloons. She looked so cute toting them around. She had so many of them it looked like she would be picked up off the ground at any minute! This anniversary party was very special for our whole family. Everyone in my whole family loves grandma and grandpa Craythorne so, so, so very much. For a gift from the family Tad made my grandparents a video of their last fifty years together and also a book with lots of pictures of all that they have experienced together during their time being married. It was such a wonderful day.
On Friday, March 13th Auntie Chele invited Justin and I to go with her, Kyla and Dallas, and Brooklyn to the Draper Temple open house. We didn't know at first if we would make it because Justin had work and we weren't sure if he would be done in time for us to make it out there. But we did and we were certainly so happy about it! It was so wonderful!

I can't wait tell the day comes that I can say I have been married for 50 years. That's awesome that they have been married for so long-FOREVER.

I am so jealous that you were able to see the new temple! Was it just so amazing, to be able to tour everywhere? My goodness... Such an opportunity!
Congrats on your grandparents 50th anniversary!!! That is SUCH an accomplishment!! I know we are both on the early side of things (being newlyweds still and such...)but one day Ash, we are both going to be on the other side, celebrating our 50th anniversary with our own hubbies! That makes me laugh... I wonder what we will look like when we're old. Crazy! Time is already passing too quickly!
Have you heard back from any of the schools you applied to for a teaching job? I wish you nothing but the best!
I'm so glad we're still in touch Ashely and still close even with our busy schedules. How's Christina doing? I haven't talked to her FOREVER! I can't get a hold of her on the phone... tell her I love and miss her! Just like I do to you too!
Hope to talk to you soon! Give me a call when you have a minute:)
