A little over a week ago (on Thursday, January 7, 2010) Talon came to Orem to have dinner and then go with Justin and I to the Timpanogos Temple. I wasn't able to be there when Talon went to the temple for the first time so it was really important to me that we planned another time to visit the temple with Talon and be in a session together. It was such a wonderful experience. I am so grateful that Talon was willing to come all the way to Orem so that we could spend some time together as it gets closer for him to leave on his mission. After going to the temple we drove up to the MTC to show Talon were it was at, went to 3 different ice cream places to get dessert together (all of them were closed!) and finally ended up at In-N-Out to have shakes (the boys also got burgers- they just couldn't resist)!
Then on the following night (Friday, January 8, 2010) Talon and I made plans with our Dad to go out to dinner while he was in town. It was Talon's choice of which restaurant we would go to and, of course, he picked Tepanyaki! Expensive? Yes, but it was well worth it!
Talon brought his super cute girlfriend, Rielee, and we all had a fun time together!
Then the next day (Saturday, January 9, 2010) Justin and I had the chance to go to the Salt Lake Temple with Talon and my parents. We thought it would be really neat to all be at the temple together (BreAnne and Adam were going to come too, but they weren't able to in the end, :( which was sad) But we still really enjoyed our time together. I kinda forgot about taking pictures while we were outside the temple until it was too late, but I made sure we got a couple while we were all out to dinner after- we picked up Hunter and Maddie after so that they could be there too- at Chili's, a family favorite. :)
