Our visit to "The Happiest Place on Earth."

This past week (March 2nd-March 7th) we went to Disneyland with my family- my mom and dad, grandma and grandpa Craythorne, Talon, Hunter, and Maddie, BreAnne, Adam, Maccoy and Ellsie- and we all had a blast! It was such a great trip and we all had so much fun! I truly believe that Disneyland is for sure one of "the happiest places on earth."
Keaton and his best friend, Maddie. (Oh, that smile just makes me soooo happy! These two are two of my most favorite friends.)
It was hard for this little guy to stay in his stroller so much... He would have loved to have been "let loose", but for sure would have been lost within seconds. We did have a monkey leash for him to wear, but this boy has a mind of his own and refused to walk anywhere that we wanted him to walk. :)
I was so happy to see that I was able to get so many pictures of Keaton smiling. Albeit sometimes they are silly little smiles, but they are cute and fun all the same. :) (What a cute little family I have!)

Oh, yes, and here is this crazy boy. I think he really loved Disneyland, :) just not so much taking pictures while at Disneyland.
Keaton cuddling with grandma.

Here we are on the ferris wheel... we picked a swinging gondola... and Keaton did not like it not one little bit! So, no smiling for this picture.
Before going into the Bug's Life show. Uh, Keaton didn't really like it either. I think it was a bit too scary for him. Actually, Keaton didn't really like too many of the rides in Disneyland, at first anyway, they were much too scary for him, but after a while he started to like them a little bit more and even started crying when the ride was over!
Best "bug" friends. :)
Keaton thought it was pretty neat to wear his bug eyes. (I'm one lucky girl to have these two amazing boys in my life!)

Keaton's "surprised face!" You can't ask this kid to smile, but if you ask him to show you his surprised face you're in for a treat. It makes me laugh so hard every single time he does it. It was rather hard to catch on camera though, he gets so into it that he doesn't hold very still!
Keaton loved the Toy Story ride in California Adventure! Although, the jacket he is wearing in this picture he did not love- oh no, not at all- and it took a lot of coaxing for me to get him to leave it on!
After a long day in California Adventure this cute boy was completely worn out!
Keaton was too, but he fought sleep a little longer than Maccoy. He does not like to miss out on any of the excitement.
Eating our dinner outside at The Cheesecake Factory.
And, it wasn't long before Keaton gave in. :) He slept soundly throughout our whole meal.
Our first few days in California were really warm, sunny, and perfect but, our final day in Disneyland was a little chilly so we all needed to have our jackets on.
I really should have been better about taking more pictures while on our trip... But, I was too busy having tons of fun and soaking in the good feeling of being in such a happy place. Justin took these pictures on our last night in Disneyland as we were riding Indiana Jones.
Maddie was our driver. And, boy-o-boy was it one crazy ride! She just kept screaming to me and Justin- "I'm sorry! I'm soooo sorry!" "....I think I took a wrong turn?!" "I'm sorry! I'm soooo sorry!"
If you want someone super fun to go to Disneyland with, take this girl- Maddie is an absolute riot. She is so happy, silly, and fun and anyone in our family that was with her during our trip just couldn't help laughing and smiling uncontrollably right along with her. She's one great gal that I am pleased as a pickle to have not only as my sister, but as one of my bestest friends!

What a great week we have had! And, although I know it stressed Justin out a bit to be missing a few days of school it was such a fun, relaxing trip that I felt like we both needed and really enjoyed. I loved spending time with Justin and Keaton in such a fun place and with my family too! I only wish it could have lasted longer!

I'm jealous! I haven't been to Disneyland in years and your post made me miss it! So glad that you guys had a great time, and that Keaton seemed to enjoy it too. So cute. Oh, and yes - let's get together this week sometime! Hoping for good weather so we can do some walking. Coming to Julie's shower? :)
