Or as Keaton often calls them (by mistake) his "sweaters." But, regardless of what they should be called, diapers are almost a thing of the past around here (besides the cute little newborn and size 1 diapers I have started stocking up on for baby girl!) since Keaton decided about a month ago that he was ready to potty train!
Keaton has been doing quite a good job and rarely has accidents! Of course we still have a few things to work on- like going #2 in the potty (which hasn't happened at all yet), and not waiting too long to go potty and then having an accident on the rug in the bathroom instead of in the toilet... Ha, ha- there have certainly been some stressful moments throughout this potty training process, but all in all Keaton has been great!
I have been stressed about potty training in general since Keaton was about 2... I wasn't sure I would ever be ready to take that step... I didn't know if I could handle cleaning up after the accidents and such, but all I can say is that I am so glad I waited until Keaton said he was ready! We had tried getting Keaton to go in the potty a few different times since he turned 2, (we weren't trying way hard) but really no great interest was shown on his part until HE was ready and since that moment things have just gotten better and better as we watch our little boy turn into quite the big boy!
