March 1st- On Saturday, I talked Justin into driving me the hour or so distance from here to the nearest Hobby Lobby that had the supplies I needed for a little visiting teaching idea (Another one from pinterest...
http://marcicoombs.blogspot.com/2014/02/march-visiting-teaching-handout.html... more to come on the blog later!) Well, that Hobby Lobby happened to be located in an area where Justin served part of his mission, so we made a day road trip out of it and it was such a fun day! We drove around Justin's area that he served in and visited a couple of Amish cities like Bird in Hand and Intercourse, PA. (Justin wanted to stop and take a picture by the sign...) Then once it got dark we went to dinner at Red Robin on our way home. We didn't get home till late, but the kids were troopers the entire trip. I love days like this with my little family of 4.
Keaton with his road trip essentials- "big Woody" and his ipod. This boy listened to the Frozen soundtrack at least a dozen times. (He knows all the words to all the songs by heart!)
This isn't the best picture, but Keaton fell while running to his room before bed and hit the entire side of his face on the corner of the door. His cheek was immediately swollen and bruised. He is one brave boy and only cried for a few minutes. He hit really hard and I'm sure it really hurt! Poor boy. :(
Aisley is getting accustomed to our long car rides now and has been just as much a pro as Keaton on our family road trips. This girl is just just a happy thing!
(Thanks Grandma Adams for the super cute new outfit! Aisley truly is our "little snuggle bunny!")
