Road Trip back to Utah- 2nd stop- NAUVOO

June 8th- This was a BIG driving day! We drove all day long towards Nauvoo and didn't make it to our hotel until late afternoon.

More fun stuff from Sister Walk!

A yummy (Maryland favorite) treat that we enjoyed our first night in Nauvoo. (Justin's boss gave him these as a "going away" gift.)

(Which was amazing, by the way- a must see while in Nauvoo and we got lucky enough to see it! They only do one performance a week, on Sunday nights, and we just so happened to be in Nauvoo by Sunday night.)

June 9th-

We all LOVED our wagon ride around the cute town of Nauvoo!

Keaton learned the pros and cons of having to carry your own water... Ha ha!

While the kids took a quick snooze in the car we drove out to Carthage Jail and then once they both woke up (Both our kiddos were soooo tired our entire trip- we were just always going, going, going!) we took a tour of the jail. (We debated whether or not we wanted to go out to the jail again this year, but we were both so glad that we did- the tour was the same and yet very different and we all felt the spirit testify to us that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God.

After visiting Carthage we headed back to Nauvoo and Keaton made a hat and joined all the kids and the young performing missionaries in the Children's parade. He had such a fun time!

June 10th-

After breakfast the boys went swimming while Aisley took a nap!
