September 8th- Keaton started preschool at Bluffridge Elementary (which is just down the street from our house) and he absolutely loves it! (I was a little worried he would have a hard time after taking him to his preschool assessment at the school and he was totally shy, nervous, and scared!) His teacher's name is Mrs. Hopkins and she is super nice! Keaton goes to school twice a week- Mondays and Wednesdays- and he always leaves me so happy and comes home so happy! This boy loves school!
Keaton and his cousin Ty are going to preschool together. They are the cutest little buddies and we are so glad that Ty will be spending Mondays and Wednesdays at our house so that these boys can go to school together. (Keaton is still learning how to share his stuff and play nicely with Ty at our house sometimes...Keaton gets quite the little temper sometimes and seems to suddenly think it is okay to hit or scratch! Ahhh! But each day he seems to do better and these boys are becoming super cute friends!)
I was worried when I took the boys on their first day that they would get sad all of the sudden and not want to go- but they did nothing of the sort! I dropped them off at the gate where their teacher greeted them and told them to go on inside and hang up their backpacks and they walked away without a single backward glance!
A proud mommy moment for sure.
On a side note- Here is a picture of Keaton's spider? bite- or some kind of bite! He came home from school his first day and it was so inflamed and sad looking we had to go to the store and find some medicine for it. Luckily, by the next day it was looking just fine!
