The 1st half of March 2016

March 1st- With the weather warming up a bit some days, Aisley, Rich, and I have been able to walk to pick Keaton up for school. It's been fun for all of us, and Keaton gets really excited when he sees us walk up to the school with the stroller. In our new house, the walk to the school is less than 5 minutes, and it has amazed me how much happiness that 5 minute walk brings all 4 of us. It is nice to feel Spring in the air, to get even a tiny bit of exercise and to just be outside enjoying the Spring blooms and flowers around our neighborhood.

When it comes to texting, this is how I roll.
Rich trying baby food for the first time. I think it went fairly well. Ha, ha.

March 2nd- Mckell came with the kids and I to the Leonardo Museum in Salt Lake City to go to the Mummy Exhibit. (Keaton was scared to death at first, he was literally in tears at the thought of seeing "real, live, mummies" quoting from the intro presentation before entering the exhibit. Good thing Mckell was there to help me calm him down. I kinda felt bad about it because I didn't even think about it being scary for the kids... In the end though, Keaton really ended up enjoying seeing and learning all about mummies and even asked once we were home if we could go back again!) After viewing the exhibit, we walked around the rest of the museum and let the kids play. They had a blast trying out the different exhibits. We were all so happy to get to spend the afternoon with aunt Kell.

March 3rd-
Rich had his 6 month well check and shots this morning and was very tuckered out after all the excitement.

This girl was just happy to be along for the ride. Especially since it wasn't her turn to see the doctor!

(Forcefully) holding hands on our walk to pick Keaton up from school.
March 4th-
Yay for fun jelly shoes and nice warm Spring weather! Me, this girl, and Rich all went and did some Target shopping after having lunch with Justin at Chick-fil-A. (Keaton was lucky enough to get to stay and hang out with dad at work while we went shopping.)

What Keaton made with Justin while he was hanging out at work with him. Keaton had a great time working like dad works.

March 6th-  Keaton's picture he drew for Grandpa Greg of all of us going boating in the summer sun!
March 8th-
Oh man!

March 9th- Before and after SHUTTER pictures!!!

Aisley's fear of loud noises hasn't subsided much over the past couple of months... she still really dislikes all kinds of loud noises... the blow dryer, vacuum, and the sound of all the "booming"- as Aisley calls it- that was going on while our shutters were being installed. Keaton was an awesome big brother and sat by her and played with her the entire time the booming was going on so that she wouldn't be so sad and scared by all the noise.

Aisley's super cute flip-flops from aunt Marcia. Marcia is Justin's aunt (Shauna's sister) and is ALWAYS so thoughtful of us and the kids and is always sending or bringing over the cutest little things for the kids or just sending us sweet messages to tell us hello and ask how we are doing.

March 11th- Zoo day with BreAnne and the kids! The weather was beautiful and we all had a great time getting out of the house for the afternoon!

March 12th- Rich puts up with a lot of extra special love from his sweet sister, Aisley. :)

March 13th- A quote I thought was powerful from an amazing book series I read by JoJo Moyes entitled "Me Before You."

This girl truly has my heart. She is as feisty as can be and can't be made to do anything she doesn't want to, but she has the sweetest heart and the biggest spirit and few things make me happier than spending time  with her. When it is just me and her she gets so chatty and tells me all kinds of things and I just love it. She's my best little friend and I sure hope it stays that way for forever.
(You can't hardly tell in the picture, but she's holding an A for Aisley in her hands.)

Who wouldn't want to take a nap wrapped up in Grandma Patsy's arms?!

March 14th-
