name 6 things that make you happy!

(these are not in any specific order, I just typed them in the order that I thought of them)

1- BOOKS, BOOKS, AND MORE BOOKS. Reading has been and seems like always will be one of my very most favorite things. I love going to the book store, I love the smell of new books, I love buying a new book to add to my now quite big collection. Most of all I love getting lost in a story, feeling a part of the life of the characters, and analyzing why things are the way the are in the story and what that must mean.

2- JUSTIN, MY BEST FRIEND, MY HUSBAND. He always seems to have a way to put not only a smile on my face but also laughter in my whole self. In my saddest moments or hardest times he is always here for me, which is amazing because most of the time I feel like he truly is the only one that could make me feel better. Justin is very good at making me happy by complimenting me on how I look, or how good the dinner is that I made him. He even lets me do things that he probably thinks are pretty silly, just because they make me so happy- like turn on the Christmas lights before it is dark and buy lots of candy every time we go to the store. :)

3. DECORATING FOR THE HOLIDAYS. I have loved having a place of our own to decorate for each season. Usually Halloween is my very favorite, but now that it is the Christmas season it is hard to say that Christmas is not my favorite. I love putting up fun holiday candy dishes and filling them with lots of cute candy that goes along with the holiday.

4. CHILDREN. Since I was a young girl I have felt a very strong connection with kids of all ages. I love being around my family and all my wonderful cousins who are younger then me. I love feeling their strong spirits, their energetic happiness, and their ability to learn something new everyday. My little sister Maddie amazes me every time I am around her. She gives me so much happiness for life, because of the way she just loves her own. She is always being silly and crazy, which reminds me of me when I was her age. Brooklyn also holds a special place in my heart. I feel like I light up inside in a way that no one can see, but only I can feel, when I am around her. I get kinda sad when I realize how much she has grown up. Both her and Maddie are little girls who often try to act a lot older then they really are, but they are growing up fast! Which is bittersweet for me. Even Ady, who does not even like me very much I don't think (mostly cause I do not see her enough for her to get to know me) whenever she says hi to me, saying my name, makes me so happy. All the kids really- Jackson, Hunter, Ben, Ryker, Easton, Lexi, Brinnlee, and Justin's siblings, who really are growing up so much, Curtis and Miryka, they all make me so very very happy!

5. SCHOOL. Yes, as crazy as it seems, school really does make me happy. I really do love to learn. I love so much studying English, which really is my passion. The closer and closer I get to graduating, the more and more I realize that I really am going to miss being at school everyday. I feel that gaining as much knowledge as we can is crucial for our happiness not only in this life, but in our life to come.

6. A CLEAN HOUSE. Having a clean and organized house makes me very very happy. It may seem silly, but having our apartment in order makes me feel so very calm and relaxed. I feel like it invites the spirit into our home and into our marriage, and with not having messes to worry about we can worry about lots of other more important things. :)

It is hard to only name 6 things, but for today, these 6 things makes me the most happy :)
