Truck Show!

A couple of weekends ago (Saturday, August 15th) Justin talked me into going to a Truck Show with him that was being held at Thanksgiving Point. I decided that it could be fun...so we invited Curtis to come with us and were on our way to what Justin thought would be the coolest part of the show, the Truck Pull...Well, unfortunately the pull wasn't anything like what Justin was picturing it to be, instead it was all these men that signed up to try to pull this highway patrol truck. But even though it wasn't what Justin was expecting it was still kinda entertaining. And after watching the pull for a while we walked around to look at all the big trucks.

This M&M truck was my very favorite. It was totally decked out with everything M&M painted everywhere. I loved it! Whoever painted this truck was quite talented.

Darn it, this picture is sideways but its a cool painting of the twin towers, which was also a painting that was on the M&M truck.

On Saturday night Curtis stayed the night at our house. Justin was on-call on Saturday and got called to go do a job after the Truck Show and so Curtis said he would be willing to go shopping with me (something I've really wanted to do!) and we had lots of fun together. Curtis is always lots of fun to talk to and he always makes me laugh. He found a backpack for school and I bought me some new shirts. After shopping and Justin got home we had dinner together and then Justin and Curtis' cousin Brady came over and the boys all played Age of Empires, for hours and hours, while I worked on our digital scrapbook. Once midnight hit I finally coaxed the boys away from the game and Justin, Curtis and I all watched Seventeen Again! I think we all really enjoyed the movie cause we all stayed up till three a.m. watching it!

On Sunday, Curtis came with us to church and then we all had Sunday dinner together. We had such a great weekend with Curtis staying with us. We're excited for this fall because since we all have BYU All-Sport passes we will probably be able to spend lots more time with Curtis in the near future. :)
