Super silly picture, but it's the only one we took while we were in Salt Lake City this past weekend celebrating our 1st year anniversary! Wow, we had such a great day. I had a surprise scavenger hunt for Justin on Saturday morning (August 22nd) which included waffles for breakfast and a surprise reservation to stay at the Courtyard Marriot in downtown Salt Lake City. Our first stop in Salt Lake City was the Salt Lake Temple where we did a session and some sealings. The sealings were really special and fun for us as we looked back on exactly one year ago and thought of our own sealing and wedding day. After the temple we had dinner together at The Old Spaghetti Factory (one of our favorites!) at Trolley Square and then we went window shopping at the Gateway before we went to see The Proposal at the Gateway Megaplex. The movie was lots of fun and pretty cute and funny! Then we headed to our hotel where we exchanged gifts, got in the hot tub and then watched TV together late into the night. It was so much fun! Justin and I really enjoyed our time together, just us, and it was especially fun to get away from our apartment and share some time together away from home and celebrate one year together. I can't believe how quickly time has flown and each day only gets better and better. As Justin and I venture into eternity our love only continues to grow and grow! Being married is an amazing thing and I really feel that with each year it will only get better and better!

year ONE!

I am so happy for you. I am glad you have fun and are happy! You're my best friend Ashley... I am so grateful we met at BYU, had the blessing to be roomies, and are still going strong now in our love and support of one another...

Sorry I haven't been around lately. I thought I was a follower of your blog so I would know when you updated. Looks like you are having a pretty good time. I can't beleive that you have been married a year. I remember you coming home to tell me that you were engaged. I'm so happy things are going well. Also I think I found a job down here in Provo helping a student for a couple hours everyday. We need to do something again soon and since Carrie and Lynds are here we all need to get together. Love ya!
