Havin' a ball! And, some fun Keaton facts.

Keaton loves this ball... And,

:: Keaton is starting to say his very 1st [real] words! Like- "da-do" = thank-you "ah-ow" = opps, or oh, no and he even in starting to say mom-ma and dad-da!
:: right now, Keaton has 6 going on 8 or 9 teeth. I can see a few teeth just beginning to pop through his gums.
:: Keaton can now sign "yes," along with "please," "thank-you," "more," and "all done."
:: Keaton is growing up and showing his age and understanding more and more everyday- can't believe he is getting so close to being 2! But, along with this age and understanding we see a lot more of his "mad" face (which is hilarious and hard not to laugh out loud at- he folds his arms and makes the cutest pouty face!) and "tantrumy" side. He's surely a true toddler now. ;)

Keaton loves this ball too (it lights up!)... And,

:: is even getting really good at throwing a ball or playing "catch." (Mostly Justin and I are the catchers, but Keaton has a good aim when it comes to throwing us the ball.)
:: Keaton is eating again... kinda?! Ha, ha. Keaton's newest favorites (or staples) are cereal- Life, Honey Comb, and sometimes Fruit Loops (with and without milk)- cinnamon graham crackers, fruit snacks, yogurt, pizza and hot dogs with ketchup!
:: he loves being independent and feeding himself as much as possible. :)
:: ever since Keaton came home from the hospital he has been sleeping in in the morning till 10:30 or 11! Crazy, right?!? I'm lovin' every moment of it. ;)

Oh, and Keaton loves this ball too! And...

:: not only has Keaton been drinking one good (9-11oz) bottle every morning, but he has also been drinking water/juice from a sippy, a straw cup, AND a small regular cup- he doesn't even spill! (This may seem like a funny thing to brag about, but I honestly had my doubts that I would ever be able to get Keaton to drink out of a regular cup without spilling everywhere! :) )
:: Keaton loves seeing doggies and birdies outside- he points and gets so excited and wants to touch or pet them. (Mostly that only happens with dogs, obviously. :) )
:: he loves to walk everywhere that he can and gets super sad when he realizes we have walked to the car just to get IN, or that we have walked to the grocery store doors just to have to ride in a CART!
:: this boy is also becoming quite the little climber- he has only recently started being able to climb up onto things like the couch and chair in our family room. (Although, he doesn't do so hot getting down off of the things that he has climbed up on...)

Doesn't he look so cute in his new little pjs. (I went shopping yesterday and got Keaton a couple new (less warm) pjs and a couple new springy outfits. They were much needed!) I love that these pjs don't cover up his cute little feet!

Only 4 more days and I get to be home with this fabulous little boy EVERY DAY of the week!

P.S. Keaton's whole body as slimmed down a lot lately, along with his feet and I can now finally put different shoes on him besides his crocs. :) His feet were much too fat for any other shoes a couple of months ago!
