And, as a (silly) little motivator I printed off this reading chart to help us stay on track. -2 chapters a day till the end of the year!- (Although, we aren't starting in Nephi, we are starting in Alma, which is where we are currently studying in Sunday school.)
When I first told Justin about this goal that our branch had and asked if he would like to do it he asked whether I meant together or personally- well, I told him I wouldn't mind doing both.
So, here is my own personal reading chart. (I guess I should probably ask Justin if he wants one too? But, for some strange reason he usually isn't into this type of thing as much as me. Weird right? :) )
I will be starting at the beginning for my reading and also have 2 chapters a day to read to finish by the end of the year.
I honestly can't remember the last time I read the entire Book of Mormon. Which makes me sad. But, I can also honestly say that I am really excited about this new goal of ours and am grateful to be a part of an awesome branch that encourages us to make these types of spiritual goals. My real hope is that we can get into a good habit of reading and stay excited for the next 5 months so we can meet our goal!
Question- What do you and/or your family do to stay up on your daily scripture reading?
Both of these reading charts have a great quote on them-
"If you don't have time to pray and read your scriptures you are busier than God ever intended you to be."

Hey Ashley! I love reading your blog. You guys look like you have some great goals set for the "mid-year." We sure do miss you guys in Utah. I am truly so sorry and sad you lost your baby. I can't imagine how hard that must have been. I do admire your faith though. Continue being strong and you will be blessed. Much love!
